LOVELY HOTEL ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. PLENTY OF COLD FOOD WITH LOTS OF VARIETY. OVER ALL A LOVELY RELAXED CONVENIENT HOTEL TO EXPLORE CLIFTEN. WOULD DEFINATLY STAY AGAIN.

NO LIFT AND NO COOKED BREAKFAST. WAITRESS IN THE RESTRAUNT ON THE SECOND MORNING ABSOLUTLY RUSHED OFF HER FEET. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. EXTERIOR NEEDS UP DATING BUT OVR ALL A REALLY NICE STAY

Excellent location & continental breakfast was all you could ask for. Eleanor very friendly & helpful Peter is an excellent informant for local amenities & directions. Very friendly staff throughout even though we never got girls names on desk!

Wonderful stay, the room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Eleanor in the dining hall was such a delight and greeted us every morning for breakfast and was very helpful. I would highly recommend Alcock and Brown if you are visiting Clifden!

loved the very spacious room (202) with the view over the town. Charming service esp at breakfast and from the room cleaning staff

Very friendly staff. Great location, close to everything. Good parking arrangement. Lovely breakfast, serano ham, cheese assortment, boiled eggs, yogurt and everything else bar fried food which is no harm.

Fantastic location, on the square. Newly decorated interior and bedrooms by the looks of it ...really nice. Lovely breakfast, plenty to choose from the buffet. Very friendly service. We'd definitely come back

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
It's very central to everything. The staff are really lovely. The breakfast while it was continental had a great variety of items so no-one went without. The rooms were very clean. The shower was great!
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
My husband wasn't fond of the mattress, he found it too hard. When people were walking around in the corridor they kept banging the door which was quite loud. The noise from one of the bars was quite loud so you couldn't have your window open if it was hot. I didn't notice a lift either. Overall it was a lovely stay
