1. Golf at Connemara Championship Links
Ireland is as famous for its Championship Golf Courses as it is for its pubs and this spectacular links course will not disappoint. Located only a 20 minute drive from the Alcock and Brown hotel are the Connemara Championship Golf Links which is ideal for a large group such as a stag do to while away the hours whilst enjoying the classic game.
2. Kayaking, Surfing, Coasteering and Rock Climbing with Real Adventures Connemara

3. Shark and Deep Sea Fishing
Why not charter a boat and go fishing in Clifden on probably the best fishing waters in Europe. The scenery in this area is spectacular on land and at sea with a great variety of seabirds and wildlife, including seals and dolphins. Individuals are welcome, but why not get a group together (up to 12 persons) and have us arrange an unforgettable day - Fishing, an Island trip and a Picnic on board! Blue shark season runs from July to Spetember when these 120ib sharks come to visit in the warmer waters for a few months. Once caught the sharks are tagged, photographed with you and then released back into the water to see another day!
4. Pubs
Clifden is famed for its fantastic pubs and great Irish music. With a host of exciting pubs on our doorstep you won’t know where to start! Why not head to Lowrys Bar located a few minutes walk from the Alcock and Brown Hotel. Hugely popular with locals and visitors alike, the whiskey selection here is legendary and you won’t find better music anywhere else!
